Who this is for
This site and the weekly newsletter are intended for financial professionals. They are educational and do not provide investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Nothing here is a recommendation or an offer of any security or strategy. See the disclosure in the footer.
Submitting an idea
When you submit a 1% through the form or by replying to an issue, you confirm that the idea is your own to share, that it contains no confidential client information or nonpublic personal information, and that your firm's policies permit you to share it publicly with your name and firm attached.
You grant Dan Hancock a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to edit, publish, and distribute your submission on this site, in the newsletter, and in related materials, with credit to you and your firm as you provided it. You keep ownership of your idea. Submissions may be shortened or declined without notice.
Ideas credited to contributors reflect only that contributor's experience and are not endorsements of any firm, product, or strategy by Dan Hancock, Asset Financial Planners, or United Planners Financial Services.
Using the tools and templates
The audits, tests, and templates are provided as-is for educational use in your own practice. Adapt them to your firm's compliance and supervisory requirements before use. Do not resell or republish them.
